The popular harbour and Marina of Latchi is located about three kilometers from the popular town of Polis, and in the most scenic part of Cyprus. It is a 30 minute scenic drive from Paphos.
Latchi is well known for its many fish restaurants, mostly situated at the harbour side or on the local beaches. There is nothing more relaxing than relaxing in a local restaurant, enjoying a local beer and watching the local fishermen bringing in the freshly caught fish - ready for your evening meal.
Latchi also offers a wide range of water sports, and you can hire a self drive boat or practice diving with a fully qualified instructor. There are also a number of larger boats offering trips to the the famous 'Blue Lagoon', Normally a 3 or 4 hour trip, that takes you past the Akamas Nature reserve, you will then anchor in the crystal clear waters of the lagoon where you can relax and swim or practice your scuba diving. On some of the boats they also prepare a traditional Cyprus BBQ and a taste of the local wine.
Latchi also benefits from two large sandy beaches, with plenty of sun bathing opportunities, being a quiter area there is always plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Latchi beach is a disabled - friendly beach, with a purposed built ramp which helps persons with mobility problems to enter easily and safely into the sea.
if you are young, lively and energetic, there are three beach bars on the edge of Latchi which are open until daybreak. To sum up - Latchi caters for all age groups.
